Arconatura Organic lentils are small sized lentils are grown in Tuscany. They have a thin skin, a distinct flavor and they cook easily. Arconatura Organic lentils are 100% Italian from organic farming, free of GMOs and chemical additives, and naturally gluten-free.

Arconatura Organic lentils are grown in Tuscany, after the harvest they are stored in cold storage before the packaging to preserve all their nutritional qualities. Among the legumes, lentils are some of the most digestible, besides being rich in protein and iron.

Characteristics Arconatura Organic lentils 500 g

Arconatura Organic lentils are a particular small and thin-skinned variety, with a characteristic brown color tending to green and a pleasant and distinct taste typical of lentils. 

The easiest way to consume them is to soak them for 4-6 hours, rinse them in running water and boil them for about 40 minutes. In the pressure cooker, the time is halved. Season as desired. 

Arconatura Organic lentils are actually really versatile and great:

- in sauces to season pasta or rice

- as the main ingredient of soups and stews 

- for weaning babies 

They are also very good in combination with tomato and chili sauce, butter and spinach or even with spices such as curry mixed in fresh cream.
